I took my first breath of air on a summer day in 1976, downtown Vancouver.Since then, I've spent 2 years at the Centre for Digital Imaging & Sound (CDIS) studying Internet Publishing, Graphic Design, Digital Video Editing and Interactive Multimedia Authoring. I received a webmaster's certificate and finished in the top of my class. I've also completed 1.5 years at the British Columbia Institute of Technology (BCIT) studying for my vendor specific I.T. certifications from Microsoft, Cisco and CompTIA:
I have a combined experience of over 15 years in the above disciplines. I guess you could call me a creative designer & photographer, with a dash of geek. It is with my combined technical and creative skill sets that I am proud to present PeteJones.ca I purchased my very first camera, at the age of 31, in early 2008.And I've been a self-taught hobbyist since then. I'm not even entirely sure of why I purchased it. I had never really taken a photograph in my entire life, so why all of a sudden? The entry-level Canon DSLR was an attractive piece of technology and that was my sole reason for ever wanting it. I'm so grateful that I made that impulsive, "boxing-week-sale-induced", decision! |
